When Will My Order Ship?
If all the products in your order show “In Stock”, your order will typically be processed/shipped within 2-5 business days (Mon-Fri). Transit Times will vary depending on your location, weather conditions, and the shipping carrier’s availability. If your order has backordered products, we will order the backordered products from our vendor then ship your entire order as soon as possible. As standard practice, we will wait until all products of an order are available before shipping. If you would like part of your order shipped as soon as possible or if you would like an update on a backordered product, please contact us. How Will My Order Ship?
We ship orders using a variety of carriers that come directly from our warehouse or drop shipped from the manufacturer. We cannot guarantee a specific carrier when an order is placed. For products under 150 lbs, we will use UPS or USPS with no signature required. For products over 150 lbs, we will use a common LTL freight carrier (R&L Carriers, Southeastern Freight, etc). You will receive an email with your shipment information when your order leaves one of our facilities. After you receive your tracking information, please allow a few hours for the tracking information to update on the carrier’s website. If you are purchasing a product that ships with a LTL freight carrier, please scroll down for more information on how to accept LTL freight deliveries.
How do I receive a LTL freight shipment?
Products over 150 lbs will be shipped with an LTL freight carrier with signature confirmation. LTL freight carriers are curbside delivery, meaning that the carrier will provide service to the curb of your driveway. The carrier will reach out to you prior to delivery to set up a delivery appointment. When you receive your order, it is critical to check for both visible and concealed damage. It is your responsibility to make sure there are no broken or missing parts. If your order is damaged or incomplete, DO NOT SIGN FOR THE SHIPMENT. Note the damage/incomplete shipment with the delivery driver and REFUSE the delivery. Damage/incomplete orders that are not noted with the carrier may not be covered. If you refuse a delivery, please contact us as soon as possible so we can prepare for the return and begin working on a solution for you.
What is the difference between Processing Time and Transit Time?
Processing Time is the time it takes to verify the order/payment details and for your order to be physically picked, packaged, and loaded on the delivery truck.
Transit Time is the time it takes the shipping company to deliver your order after it has been picked up from our warehouse or manufacturer.
Transit Times will vary depending on your location, weather conditions, and the shipping company’s availability. Due to these factors, we cannot guarantee transit times as they may change.
What is a Lift-Gate?
A lift-gate is a hydraulic platform attached to the back of the delivery truck that allows large products to be safely lowered to the ground. If you are located in a residential area or are unable to unload large products, we highly recommend selecting ‘Yes’ to the ‘Add a Lift Gate?’ option. Please note, some products may be too large for a lift-gate option and will require a forklift to be unloaded. There will be a notice on products that require a forklift for delivery.
Can I ship to a PO Box or APO/FPO?
Unfortunately, we are unable to ship to PO Boxes or Military APO/FPO addresses.
Do you offer expedited shipping?
There is not an option at checkout, but we do offer expedited shipping. If you are interested in expedited shipping, please contact us via email or phone. Additional charges will apply. Please keep in mind that expedited shipping will only improve the shipping time. Processing time will still be 2-5 business days.
Item Stock Status:
We do our best to keep product availability as updated as possible, however, product availability is not guaranteed. If we are unable to ship your order, we will update you via email within 5 business days. You will have the option to keep the order open or cancel the order. If you keep the order open, we will ship it as soon as we receive the product from our vendor.
We allow customers to purchase select backordered products. Backordered products are not available in our local warehouse, but are usually available from our vendor. Products that are backordered will have a notice on their product page by the ‘Add to Cart’ button.
We are able to drop ship select brands directly from our vendor to you. There will be a notice on the product page if a product is eligible to be drop shipped. If you order a backordered product that is eligible for drop ship, we will place the order with our vendor then send you the tracking information, if available, as soon as possible.
For backordered and drop ship eligible products: We cannot guarantee our vendor’s availability. If there are any issues receiving or shipping your order, we will contact you via email within 5 business days.
Order Verification:
We reserve the right to verify the details of every order before processing and shipping. If we believe further verification is required, we will contact you via email. If contact is not made within 5 business days or we are still unable to verify the order details, the order will be cancelled.
Packaging and Repacking:
Packages may be opened by our shipping specialists to add additional parts or more protection to ensure a safe delivery. If your package looks to have been opened and/or repackaged, do not worry. Please open the package and ensure your order is undamaged and complete.
Some products may ship without the original box. We receive bulk shipments from our vendors that require us to repackage individual products before shipping. Please note, unless stated otherwise, all products sold on our website are brand new from the vendor, with full warranty coverage.
Cancellations and Refused Shipments:
Please contact us via email or phone to cancel an order. Orders that have shipped cannot be cancelled. If you refuse the shipment for your order, it will be treated as a return. You will be responsible for the outbound freight, inbound freight and handling costs that apply.
Typographical Errors:
In the event that a Arlington Power Equipment product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, Arlington Power Equipment reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for a product listed at an incorrect price. Arlington Power Equipment reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, Arlington Power Equipment shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.
Restrictions:
We only ship to the contiguous United States (lower 48 states).
