Return Policy

Thank you for shopping at Arlington Power Equipment. We know sometimes purchases don’t always go as planned so rest assured we are here to help. The following information will assist you through our return process.

You must have an RGA number (Return Goods Authorization) before any return can commence.  You may e-mail us at webmaster@arlingtonpower.com or call our toll free number at 855-243-2166 ext. 5 to obtain an RGA and shipping instructions.  No goods will be accepted without an RGA prominently attached and displayed on the outside of the package.  

If all the following* return criteria is met, we will refund the same payment method originally used to purchase the goods sold less original shipping costs and any handling fees within 10 days of receiving your item(s).

Returns will be accepted within 14 days of the delivery date with original purchase receipt in the original box in the original unused condition. Please note that it is the customer's responsibility to repackage returns (if necessary) to ensure safe delivery back to us. Any damage occurring from improper packaging will be deducted from the customer's refund. Return freight is not covered under our return policy and must be sent freight pre-paid by the customer. Returned merchandise must have an RGA (returned goods authorization) and prominently attached and displayed on the outside of goods. Please do not write on the original packaging with magic marker, pen, paint etc. Any freight collect shipments or goods without an RGA will not be accepted and refused at our shipping dock. Arlington Power Equipment will not be responsible for any extra freight or handling charges on refused shipments for lack of an RGA number. There is a 20% handling fee on all returns.

Opened Merchandise:

Products filled with gas or oil cannot be returned due to Federal shipping regulations. If a product has been gassed or oiled, it will need to be taken to an authorized service center for repair which may be covered under warranty. Products that have been opened and used cannot be returned.

Special Orders and Electrical Parts:

There are NO returns on special orders, serialized motorized equipment, electrical parts or goods returned in a damaged package/carton deemed unfit for resale.

Order Cancellations:

Orders that have shipped cannot be cancelled. If you refuse an order that has already shipped, you will be responsible for the outbound freight, inbound freight and handling costs that apply.

Special orders cannot be cancelled once they have been ordered.

Orders that have not been special ordered and have not been shipped may be cancelled with a proper CGA (Cancelled Goods Authorization).

Installed items:

Items that have been installed, attempted to be installed and or damaged in any way cannot be returned.  We may be able to file a warranty for a possible manufacturer defect but that is solely the manufacturer’s decision.

Damaged Goods:

You must take time to inspect the goods before you sign the delivery receipt from the carrier. If you sign the delivery receipt without inspecting the shipment you will be responsible for filing a freight claim and arranging for repair or return of the damaged goods. Once the item is returned we will credit you less the repair costs, Out-bound freight and handling fees. Concealed damage claims must be reported immediately.

Outer Carton Damage:

 If the out carton is damaged but the item inside is not, then keep the item inside but note “possible freight damage” on the delivery receipt while the driver is still present.  This way, if you discover later that the item is indeed damaged, the remedy of a freight claim is not such a burden.

Damaged Carton and Item:

 If you discover that not only the carton is damaged but the product inside is also, DO NOT SIGN FOR IT. Refuse the shipment and contact us immediately so we may process a freight claim and coordinate an exchange for you.

Used Equipment:

 Is sold in as is condition. We will do our best to inform you of the overall condition but there is no warranty expressed or implied. All sales are final on used equipment. No refunds or returns will be accepted.
