Found it to be an excellent replacement engine for my John Deere 717A zero turn mower. The electric system hookups were the same. Only had to drill three new mounting holes and slightly enlarge the fourth which used an existing mounting hole. Everything hookup except the muffler, which I modified the flanges and massaged the spread to fit and shorten the exhaust tube length. It is three HP more and handles tall grass easily.
